Tawny Lara, AKA The Sober Sexpert, is the co-host of the Recovery Rocks podcast, and co-founder of the Non-alcoholic Spirit called “(parentheses)”.
A frequent featured guest on NPR in January of 2025, Tawny has reported on the Sober Curious and Mindful Drinking movements since she quit drinking in 2015.
Based in NYC, she is the author of Dry Humping: A Guide to Dating, Relating, and Hooking Up Without Booze, and co-author of The Sobriety Deck.
